The Newell brothers from Wye Valley Meadery have turned their hand to developing a range of beers under the ‘Hive Mind’ label.
Inspired by a beekeepers trusty hive smoker, this beer is brewed using honey from Wye Valley Meadery’s own bees and is paired with a rich, dark malt, smoked over beechwood
Olly’s tasting note: “Great Rauchbier aroma, quintessential smoked malts, really attractive. A nice rich surging smokey character, good long tapering length, very rich umami flavours - I want to have a roast beef sandwich with it!”
