Sunflower honey is common and plentiful in large parts of continental Europe (e.g. Ukraine), but isolating a single varietal sunflower honey from the UK is a rare achievement. This honey is very high in glucose and has a cool and pleasing melt-in-the-mouth texture. Delicious and rich spread thickly over hot buttered thickly sliced granary toast, this sunflower honey has warming notes of tomato purée or stewed baked beans that sit within in a light citrus finish
