Paynes Bee Farms have been farming bees for 100 years since Fred Payne set up his first colonies in 1922. They now have over a 1,000 hives in addition to working with a few hand selected local enthusiasts.
This runny honey local to Sussex is gathered from hives situated within the South Downs National Park where the bees freely forage on a diverse range of nectar sources across the beautiful chalk hills. Such flora and fauna can include gentians and even orchids.

N.B. All raw honeys will crystallise over time. If you find that this honey has started to develop crystals and that you would prefer to enjoy it in a runny state, gently warm your honey jar in some hand-hot water
