Paynes Southdown Bee Farms

For 100 years, Paynes Southdown Bee Farms have been a stalwart within the Sussex beekeeping community. Now as 3rd generation beekeepers little has changed since Fred Payne’s first hives were established in 1922. Of course the business has grown and there is new equipment to help with packaging the raw honey, but the essence of nurturing the colonies and allowing them to thrive within the National Park of the South Downs has remained the same.
