POTTERNE HONEY

POTTERNE HONEY

Potterne Honey is a small family business run by Paul, Rebecca and their two daughters who love being mini beekeepers. Paul’s interest in bees and bee keeping started at a young age - his daily walk to school passed a bee farm and many a time he stopped to watch the operations in the yard. Eventually in the winter of 2017, Paul joined a local beekeeping association and enrolled on a basic beekeeping course, and in June 2018 welcomed the arrival of his first hive and the beginning for Potterne Honey. Paul and the family’s skills have grown over the years and Potterne Honey now produce delicious honey frum happy healthy bees.

The beehives for Potterne Honey are located within Potterne, Devizes and Salisbury Plain capturing the flora of the local landscape ranging from wooded areas, hedgerows, urban gardens, the Kennet and Avon Canal and Salisbury Plain. Each apiary has its own unique flavour of honey foraged by the bees.
